Hello,
The SD process flow is as below,
Inquiry-Quotation-Sales order-Delivery-Shipment-Billing.
The master data that is used in this process is Customer master and Material master data.
Sales documents are divided into three views-Header, Item and Schedule line data.
The sales tables are,
VBAK-Header,VBAP-Item,VBEP-Schedule line
The delivery tables are,
LIKP-Header and LIPS-Item
Shipment tables are,
VTTK-Header and VTTP-Item
Billing tables are,
VBRK-Header and VBRP-Item
Master data tables are, KNA1 for customers and MARC for Plant data for material.
Hope this helps. If you need any other info we can discuss it here.
Regards,
Swami

sd flow starts with inquiry and quotation and order then delivery and finally invoice
in sd we have to create the documents with reference document only.
the flow stored in the table called vbfa.

Hi newrider,
In SD the process starts with enquiry and ends with billing document.
The steps are creating:
1)Enquiry
2)Quotation
3)Sales order
4)Delivery
5)Transfer order(Optional)
6)PGI
7)Shipment
8)Billing document.
The basic step is you have to create customer in XD01 T.Code and material in MM01 T.Code in u r company code and sales area.
Pls read the book "Glynn C Williams" if you need any other reference.
It will be very helpful for you.
Regards,
Mohan.
