for GR use MIGO>cancel or use MBST

PR PO u can delete the line items and save

Hi,

Answer to your first question form material valuation point of view.

1. Difference between Stock and consumables materials.

Automatic account assignment occurs for a stock material with a material type that allows for inventory management. At posting time, data from the material master record determines which G/L accounts to hit. For automatic account assignment, the account assignment category field is left blank.

For consumable material may or may not have a material master record. A consumable material with a material master record would be for example, a material whose material type does not allow for inventory management (ex: pencils, paper, staplers, etc.). When creating a requisition for one of these consumable materials, you must enter something in the account assignment category field.

When an account assignment category is specified, an additional pop-up window appears for entering the account assignment data.

Hi,

Stock materials are procured and maintained in stock. These materials will have material master and it should be maintained atleast one storage location.In this procurement material document and accounting document will genarate.

For consumable material material master may be or maynot be maintained.While procuring you need to assign a account categeory referance. the material document will be genarated.

For cancelation of GR goto MIGO and select cancelation and give the material document.

PO cancelation means you can block or you can short close by selecting delivery complete.

Stock material: Material is material that is held in stock

Consumables: Material is material that is not held in stock because it is consumed immediately. (Office supplies such as stationary. You need to create purchase order and accounting document for payment but the stock balance is always zero as it is issued out immediately to the various department.)

Tcode: MBST for GR reversal

Cancel PO & PR delete Lineitems.

Stock material are which you are going to store those materials in storage location,

Consuable materials are like which you are not going to stock those materials in storage location after procuring those material will issue to those material to concerned required person or department. ex:Paper, pen, Any stationery, here the consumption is booked against the account assignment category which is defined while procuring the material.

Invoice: MR8M to cancel the invoice

GR;MBST to cancel GR or you can use cancellation in MIGO T.code.

PO;Here you have set deletion indicator at line item level.

PR;Here also you have set deletion indicator @ line item level.

PIR;ME16 for setting deletion flag for info record.

What questions we may expect for interview in MM nad for written test also
