PI system copy

Hello,

I made a system copy of my pi system to create another system.

After the system copy - i noticed that there are all kinds of "left overs" of the source system from which i made the system copy - like hostname - especially in the java part of the system (exchange profile etc,)

how do i change all these settings from the source system to the target system settings?

Hi Moshe,

So, you did a system copy of your pi system and the problem now is that your new system

connections point to the source pi system, isn't it?

The most settings your have to change are located in exchange profile.

So, change the parametters in http://<new_host_name:port>/exchangeProfile according to your new

pi system. Be carefull also withe the users and passwords...

Save the changes and restart at least JAVA stack.

The SLD, is the same or is a one new local different?

Check that you new pi system as well as your application systems are connected properly to the SLD which your new pi system is coneected to.

Probably, your have to change some setting in Visual Administrator.

problem is solved

in the netweaver 2004s system copy guide there is a section regarding PI and the nessary post system copy changes
