hi
how to start SAP BIW Server ?
OS --> AIX 5.2
DB --> ORACLE 10.2
Regards
Gunjan
Hi,
Login to client with telnet,
Now change to user ORA<SID> and start database
now change to user <SID>adm and start the listnercntrl and then later start SAP.
Note: check when you are shifting users acually the directory also changes to respective user home directories(this should happen automatically, if not change to that directory manually by CD command to execute the commands)
Regards,
Raju.

Hi Gunjan,
Establish a telnet session with AIX server on which SAP is to be started.
login with ora<SID> user and start listener with command
#lsnrctl start
logout
login with <SID>adm user and start sap with command
#startsap
logout and exit
Thanks and regards,
Meghan
