Hi

I activated serial number profile its creating fine in delivery. I want to create equipment number also. How to do this.

Hello,

Use IQ01 to create serial number and click on Activate Equipment view option, so the system will create Equipment also alog with serial number. You may see the Equiment number in IQ02 / IQ03 , Equipment tab.

You can also use IQ04 for Bulk serial number creation and in the View Selection Tab activate the equipment view also

Hi,

When defining serial number profiles, you should define the equipment type if you want to have the equipment number as well:

• The equipment type that the system should propose as default when automatically distributing serial numbers in the case of the equipment master record.

• The equipment category which the system should propose for the automatic assignment of serial numbers in the case of equipment master records.
