service po item category = 9 ( D ) in 2lis_02_sgr

Hello

I wanted to know why service po's ( i.e ekpo-pstyp =9 , item category = 9 , shown as 'D' on me23n screen) are not exctracted thru 2LIS_02_SGR.

if the service po's are not extracted thru 2lis_02_sgr then what is the way to extract them to BW?

What is the significance of tables ESLH, ESLL and ESKL in case of service PO's as we see the information in EKKO and EKPO as well?

Hello

Could anyone please explain me -

Service POs( item category = 9 "D") are extracted via 2lis_02_itm then why the GR for service POs is not extracted in 2lis_02_sgr?

ohh finally I could find the related documentation

To improve performance, this DataSource contains no information about scheduling agreements. This also applies to returns items, service items, and limit items.

Note 609847 - BW: missing info for Info sources 0SGR, 0SCN, 0CGR

Reason and Prerequisites

Functionality not developed.

Solution

Up to the moment for this data sources: 2LIS_02_SGR, 2LIS_02_CGR and

2LIS_02_SCN the information regarding return position or service

position or blanket position are not taken into account.

This means that the information will not be available in BW system for

these data sources.

Since this type of position has a special handling, as for instance

the quantity is not relevant for service items, a quantity based

comparison would not be meaningfully in this case.
