Dear All,

How to transport a request to testing ?

From where and how do we do the transport request. pls. tell me the steps

Hii..

When ever go do changes in customizing the system ask for transport request.you just have to create your own request by clicking on create own button just give the description & save,system will will a transport number.then goto se10 find your number click on + button it will show you another request number under your request number.just put the cursor on it & click on release button,after that put the cursor on the original request number & click on release button.than give the request to your basis guy he will transport it to which ever client you want.

you just release the request in se01 and ask basis guy to move it

Hi

First you know every request is save in two levels all objects are save in lowyer level first you relase the lowyer level request thru SE01 OR SE09 OR SE10 all are same after that release higher level request. you will inform to Basis guy he will transfer from one client to another other wise you can do with SCC1 copy from one client to another under that just u enter ur release request number and select copy button system is asking are u want to copy from that client to this client select yes button its automatically copied all configs but this is do in new client ok if u have any doubt let me know.

If we have configured something in dev u2026we get a transport request nou2026XXXXXXXX

Then need to go to SE09

Give the USER ID

Under Request type

Put tick mark on customizing request

Workbench request

Under Request status

Tick mark on Released

And click on display

Then select the request no

Then it will give subtask need to click on subtask and click on release directly

And click on the main task click on release directly.

Give the request no to BASIS people they would transport it to other client (testing)
