Transfer Stock to subcontractor with reference of Sales order

Hi,

Scenario:

MTO strategy

We have one operation is subcontracting. When we take MRP run all PurReq. & PLOrd are reference to sales order. But when we want to transfer material to subcontractor through TCode MB1B Mvt type 541 that time system issue the following message.

Deficit of SL Unrestricted-use 3,150 KG : 119 1002 RM

Then we have to transfer stock reserved against sale order to unrestricted.

Requirement:

Can we transfer stock to subcontractor with reference to sales order.

Pl tell me how I resolved this issue.

HI if you have reserved the stock against the sales order and now you plant to make use of that quantity then you need to make use of the movement type 411 E to bring that reserved stock in your unrestricted stock and then you can make use that goods to issue to subcontractor

Hello....

You can not transfer material from Sales order Stock by movement type 541 as both stocks are Special stocks & has not recommend to transfer between two special stocks.

For this Solution , Transfer posting to transfer the provided components to a new storage location (for example, 9999) by using movement type 311. This enables you to obtain an overview of those stocks that are physically located at the subcontractor. This information is particularly important when you carry out a physical inventory of the sales order stocks.

Not Possible to Transfer sales order stock directly to subcontractor in Standard SAP.

First you need to Transfer Sales Order stock to Unrestricted using MB1B 411 E and then Transfer Stock to Subcontractor using MB1B 541.

Hi,

In standard SAP only from unrestricted to unrestricted goods movement is possible between Plant's SLoc and subcontractor's special stock (by mvt 541).

So, as per my best knowledge you cannot move the goods from sales special stock...

hi,

Check whether setting MRP requirements as Individual requirements for this material rather than collective requirements. If the reservation for this material comes with sales order reference then you should be able to do that.
