This is regarding delivery priority.
Once this is maintained in the customer master, for it to get picked up in the SO item, are any config steps required?
Also, how can we do a mass change on delivery priorities for existing sales orders?
Once we change the priority in the SO, the deliveries have to get created again.

Delivery Priorities will fetch into sale order either from your customer master or customer material info record.
To change in bulk, do the following:-
Go to TCode MASS, input Object Type BUS2032 and execute. Block Sales order header data and click on Fields. There select Field name MASSVBAP-LPRIO and execute. Input sale order references and now you can change the delivery priority.
But please note that if partial delivery is made already, then you wont be able to change because the field would become uneditable.
You have to foreclose all line items in the sale orders and create a new line item so that the changed delivery priority will fetch from your customer master.
Delivery Priority flows from the customer master date to Sales Order Line items.
If there is a partial delivery, then apply reason for rejection to that line item and create a new line item, then the changes to Customer Master delivery Priority will reflect in the new line item.
