Are the User's Database Credentials stored in the BO repository ENCRYPTED?

We are using BusinessObjects XI 3.1 and we are thinking of setting database credentials for users. Would Database Credentials, specially the password, be stored in the BO repository in an encrypted fashion? if so, what kind of encryption is it used?

Hello Daniel,

I believe the following is correct. You should confirm with Business Objects/SAP.

As of XI, database credentials, connection information (and all other credentials) are encrypted in the CMS database using the 128-bit RSA ( asymmetric encryption).
