In process of hiring system showing error message

Hi SAP guru

When HR person is in process of hiring system showing message controlling area does not exist for year 1990.

We are implemented SAP 2008 and maintain the fiscal year from 2008.

Hi,

We too faced the same issue.This error you get because there will be people employed in the year 1990.And since HR is a cost center we need to maintain the controlling year from the start date of the company.

Ask your CO guy to maintain the controlling area from the start date of the company.

Thanks for your reply.

We have maintain the controlling area from 2008, in sand box we created same controlling area from 1990 after that process is working fine,my concern is any other implication on system due to this addition.
