Inbound File Adapter -> Multiple End points

Hi,

My scenario is File-> XI -> SAP.

While doing so I have to pass the same message to SAP multiple times with different end points. Is it possible ?

Thanks

Satinder

Hi Homiar,

Can you please tell me the steps to achieve the same.

My sender system and the target business system are same , just the end points are different

Hi Satinder,

One way of achieving your requirement is using the Cross Component BPM (if you are using XI 3.0). You can create a Business Process which can multi-cast a message to multiple end-points.

Hi Venki,

Good to see you

I sometimes miss the days in RNIF and CIDX.

I needed a clarification on this:

Is there any special configuration required for achieving multicast transmission?

Is there any documentation available on SDN that can provide more info on the same.

Hi,

I am not sure of any documentation.

Multicast of a message can be achieved by doing

1. Multiple Receiver Determinations for a message or

2. Configuring a Business process to do a multicast.

Check the standard XI documentation for these.

Warm regards,

Venki.

Satinder,

Yes, you can have multiple Receivers / multiple end points for an interface.

Homiar.
