Hi all,

I am using infosource 0MATERIAL_ATTR (flexible update) to load master data into infoobject 0MATERIAL using update rules.

My question is: If I use this infosource (0MATERIAL_ATTR) and update rules to load master data into infoobject 0MATERIAL can I use the same infosource (0MATERIAL_ATTR)but different update rules to load data into another infoobject (e.g a copy of 0MATERIAL).

Thanks

Christian

Christian

You can upload to other infoobject also as long as it is marked as Infoprovider.

Hi cristian,

you can upload to any number of Data Targets from the Same Infosource. That same infosource can get Data from several sources. Analyse the update rules carefully.

all the best.

Hi Christian,

That would be possible (one of the adv of flexible updates). Just check whether your other InfoObject has been set as a data target/ InfoProvider (RSD1 > Mater data/text tab).

Hope this helps...
