Hey guys,
the InfoObject 0UNIT is filled from T006 (SourceSystem).
On using the global settings I got the unit 'GB' into the BW.
But the entry is not in the SID-Table of 0UNIT.
I also used the function module RSDMD_INITIAL_LINE_INSERT and CONVERSION_EXIT_CUNIT_INPUT, but without success.
On excecuting the FM RSDMD_INITIAL_LINE_INSERT nothing happens.
Is that ok?
Can anybody explain to me, how the values are transfered to the SID-Table?
I do not know the technical background.
Thanks,
Barbara
Hello there, SID's are cube related data, if you want that SID's should be effected then you have to reload or insert the data to cube.

Hi,
I have solved the problem of UoM being in T006 (via Transfering Global Settings) but data cannot be loaded as the SIDs are not available in 0UNIT.
SAP Note 591726 refers to SID number ranges but also states that SIDs can be manually generated for individual UoM in 0UNIT with function module RRSI_VAL_SID_SINGLE_CONVERT.
Enter I_IOBJNM = 0UNIT, I_CHAVL = (UoM to generate)
Execute and the SID is created and data loading should work fine.

Ruben

Thanks a lot,
I think I was already confused.
Loading the data into the cube was successfully and the SID-Table contains the entry.
Full points are assigned,
Barbara
