Generic Extractor over a Function Module

Hi SDN,

I have built a generic datasource over a function module and it works. However, when I load into BI, the load stays yellow complaining about 0 source records. I have to manually change the load to green to send data further up into BI.

The status shows following yellow messages in Monitor:

Extraction(messages):

Missing message: Number of sent records

Missing message: Selection completed

Transfer (IDocs and TFRC) missing messages or warnings

Data Package 1: arrived in BW; Processing: Selected number does not agree with transferred number

Processing and Subsequent update are both green.

Please advise.

Hi Shahid

First check out the background job (in the source system in SM37),whether it is finished.

If it is finished that means the extarction part in source system has been scussessfully completed.

Then check in SM58 whether is there are any LUW's has been struckedup in TRFC.

Hi,

Have you checked the extraction in RSA3. Please check if it gives any logs. Other thing is check the DS in RSA6, if it displays any errors..

Hi,

Check is tehre any enrties struck in SM58 in ECC and execute manually, and also check in BD87, is tehre any Idocs are there , so execute manully. And finally check the job in SM37 and ST22 andy dumps.

RFC connectionis Ok or not?. check it.
