How to get rid of negative warehouse stocks? We do not have stocks in Inventory Management for these materials.
I guess you are talking about negative quants in certain storage types, while you have as well positive quants either in the same storage type of in different storage types.
If that is the case you have to describe your situation in more details to get the best solution.
Usually the situation is caused by unprocessed posting change notices, check LU04.
In general you can get rit of negative quants, by moving the quantity from a postive quant onto the negative using LT01, but I would be careful in starting with this until you know the full picture and what caused the negatvies.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the reply. This situation arose because of the below reason...
We have had few storage locations with inventory which were not under Warehouse management and one fine day business decided to bring them under warehouse management. Configuration changed them to WM but the inventory did not come to WM. Now after dispatch of that inventory, it became the negative stock in WM.
There is positive countering entry in the system... Any thoughts to get rid of the negative stocks??
just switching on WM for a storage location does not generate the inventory in WM.
You have to create the missing inventory with 561 movement in WM (not in IM). Get IM and WM in sync.
read here what you should have done:

you have to revesr the entry or get the same amount of -ve stock in WM.

Hi Vilas,
Most people want to see all of the WM activity mirrored in the IM system. WM is usually considered to be the most accurate between IM and WM.
Normally most businesses correct all problems in WM, and let the transactions flow to IM. If, after all is said and done, the two modules are not consistant, then you could run program RLABGL00 to bring IM into synch with WM.
