Index does not exist in database system ORACLE

Dear Experts,

For performance improvement , I created one Non-unique secondary index on table MBEW on the fields

MANDT , MATNR , BWKEY , LFMON and LFGJA . I saved , activated and then transported it to our Quality server .

But if I open that index either through SE 11 or SE 14 , it shows that

Index does not exist in database system ORACLE

Why does it do not exist in database even after save , activate and even transport ( I can see that index in Quality Server with message Index does not exist in database system ORACLE ).

Any suggestions please , Should I necessarily keep MANDT field in that index ?

thanks...........

Hi frnd,

While creating non-unique key secondary index, u have to choose "Index on all database system or For all selected database systems".
