Hi,

We are using NWDS 04 (SP14) with adobe designer 6. Our interactive forms we want to make are dynamic and flexible. the things we want can be develloped in adobe designer 7. Do we get troubles when we installl designer 7 with the NWDS 04 (SP14)?

There is no issue with using Designer 7.0 with SP14, it is actually an SAP recommendation after SP12.

As for your forms: Depending on what you mean by 'dynamic and flexible', certain required features may not be available in NetWeaver '04, for example the dynamic rendering on the client. For this, you don't only need Designer 7.0, but also the 2004s ADS.

Kind regards

If you have forms created with Designer 7.0 and a higher ADS than SP11, at a minumum you will get a Reader prompt that the form was generated with a later tool, and that you should upgrade to a higher version.

For print (non-interactive) forms, you should be able to view them as before. With interactive ones, certain functions may not work in Reader 6.

Cheers,

Markus
