Hi Nitesh,

The logon par file is the standard and system doesn't allow to creat iview for this. You'll not get this file in option while creating iview from par files, as u already faced.

so, assign this with some other name. And create iview for that.

If i m not wrong u r doing this for anonymous user, right??

If yes, then follow the steps tp create an anonymous user and assign the role consisting this created iview.

please follow help.sap.com for creating anonymous user.

I hope this info wud help u.

Abhi

Hi Nitesh,

Hope this link will help you.

http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/EP/LookandFeel

You will get the deployed par file under system admin -->Support -->Portal runtime -->Browse deployment -->ROOT/WEB-INF/deployment/temp .

Nitesh,

Creat iView for the default component. You should be able to see the logon page. Login functionality doesn't work.

Instead of creating iView, you can run logon page by running the component direcly in NWDS. Just deploy the logon par into portal, then open portalapp.xml file and run the defaul component.

Sometimes, Your PAR file from NWDS will seem to show that it was created/deployed...But actually, the PAR would not have been created nor deployed. It's a bug with NWDS.

Go to the location where your expecting the PAR file to have been created on you local PC and see the date modified on it...

Make sure it's up to date.

And if you have issues even after that's correct, try uploading the PAR file through System Admin-> Support -> Support Desk->Portal Runtime -> Admin. Console

why do you want to create an iView for logon.par?

I dont think we need to make one. After doing the customization we need to make changes in authschemes.xml,i remember.

For better response move your thread to Enterprise Portal Implementation.

hi,

With respect to your problem as you are not able to view the deployed PAR file, so I suggest you to refresh the list of PAR files then you would be able to view the PAR deployed by you.

hi,

As above please confirm with name of the par file.

Or

Same problem when we faced at our end was, that the modified par file was not been deployed to the portal with adminstrator ID. That is if you are deploying the par file with your portal ID, might be one of the problem. Just check it once.

Hi,

Did u deployed the par file with same name as logon par file or with differernt name. If you are trying to overwrite then take the backup of the original par file.

Also check the log files for more information.
