ı have error while opening the query which has made by my colleague, " Authorization Change not available for query XXX " . What could be the reason?

Current SAP GUI patch level is 8.

Hi,

my SAP GUI support package 5 and ı ınstall new gui based on 7.10 support package 9, revision 614 .and ıt works.

did you try version upgrade?

It helped to us, too.
"Authorization Change not available for query  XXX" was removed by update of BEx patch.
We installed BEx 7.30 Support Package 7? Patch 1
File to install - "BI730SP07P_701-10011800".

I guess version of BEx or GUI does not matter, reinstallation is sufficient.

I am facing similar issue. It seems issue with GUI version. In my case I have created query using 740 GUI and user can't change the report if they are on 730 GUI. No OSS Notes found so far.

Hello,

Try to upgrade to the latest SP: SAP GUI 7.30 SP13, BI Addon Patch 900.

The problem will be resolved.
