How to make a User Defined Field to take only unique values?
If you define new UDF as KEY field, it will only take unique values. However, check SAP Note Number: 1230370 to see if your PL is in the safe list to avoid some application errors.
Thanks,
Gordon

You make the UDF in the Tools >UDF Customization> UDF Management, here you can define the the UDF and the preset values.

You may achieve it through transaction notification stored procedure - after adding/updating document cehck, if the value is unique, in case that not, dont allowe to complete the transaction and show error message.
