Hi All,
We have a transport request which is not yet released. But the sub task (sub transport request was released). Can we delete the main transport request?...
Regards,
Shravani
Hi Shravani,
We should not delete the Header transport request, because the imports will be done based on this request (we will be able to import once the header request is also released), and transport log also will be maintained based on Header request level not on sub task level.
Hope This helps,
Thanks,
Sathish.

Hi,
You can't delete the released task directly.
you have two options.
1.You can ask the basis to delete the request at OS level.
2. you can release the request also, import it to target system, change the object again, capture in other request. release this request also. import the request .

Hi Shravani,
You cannot delete a request whose underlying task is released. The request can be deleted only when its underlying tasks are not released and unlocked. To unlock a task goto SE03 and give task id and execute.
Hope it helps!!!
Thanks,
Lavanya.
