I've had the same problem twice now on two separate servers. Trying to upgrade to 2007A SP01 PL10.

Both times were solved by uninstalling the prerequisites. then re-attempting the install. problem solved. hope that helps someone

i had the same error when grading from 2007A patch 42 to 2007A patch 49and updating my .NET framework (repairing the existing .NET framework 2.0 in my case and then installing SP1) worked like a charm.

thanks for the update guys.

In a upgrade from 2005SP1 to 2007SP1PL05 had this problem in all the clients:

Error Accessing Parser DLL: C:\...\TMP\{C0DC7F5F-7984-7984-427D-B2E5-C7E6B1A04AF9}\creatorDll.dll

Solution was to install the [Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package|http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=200b2fd9-ae1a-4a14-984d-389c36f85647&displaylang=en] as stated here.

Thank You

Dear All,

I experienced this issue too, and I had managed to resolve it.

To resolve it In my scenario, my client PC's .NET Framework 2.0 was corrupted. Simply download the patch for .NET Framework 2.0 SP2. Then install it onto the client's PC. Then, I stopped facing this error.

Hope it helps!

Warmest Regards,

Hi,

This error was also happened yesterday in our customer's citrix presentation server. The sap support consultant suggested to install C++ 2005 redistributable file. After installed it, the B1 client can be installed and even upgraded to B1 2007A SP01 PL05.

Here is the complete solution:

Symptom

When running client setup or when running SAP BusinessOne, the following errors appear:

1. Error Accessing Parser DLL

2. C:\WINNT\TEMP\{C0DC7F5F-7984-7984-427D-B2E5-C7E6B1A04AF9}creatorDll.dll

3. Unhandled Exception - Setup will now terminate

4. The Dynamic link library msvcp60.dll could not be found in specified path

Reason and Prerequisites

1. The msvcp60.Dll is missing. This is a Windows Dll and it should be under System32 folder. The msvcp60.dll is a module containing standard C library functions such as printf,

memcpy and cos. It is a part of the Microsoft C Runtime Library.

2. Visual C++ 2005 libraries are missing. These Libraries are required to run applications developed with Visual C++ on a computer that does not have Visual C++ 2005 installed.

Solution

Consult your System Administrator on how to restore this Dll to the System32 folder. Once the Dll is restored, the problem should be resolved.

Even after restoring the Dll, if you getting the same error then you need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86), which would be installing the

missing Visual C++ 2005 libraries.

Follow the below step for installing the missing Visual C++ 2005 libraries:

1. Download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package(x86) from the follow Microsoft Website:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=200b2fd9-ae1a-4a14-984d-389c36f85647&di...

2. etc

I did only step 1 and step 2, etc were not because I am sure I did not need it.

Let us know if your issue not resolved yet.

Hello Kamlesh,

I also experienced the same error message when upgrading the client to 2007B PL11. I tried doing a new install from the B1_SHR\Client folder which resulted in the same error.

I found that if the standalone DI-API is installed before the client then the install was successful. This shouldn't be necessary but it seems to install the missing DLL's required by the client setup for those PC's which don't have them.

An easy approach would be to uninstall the client and install it fresh from the server.
