Preloading of shrort URLs/Roles - CachePreloaderService

Hi

i want to preload the short URLs at server startup.

In one of the [document|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f0f1358d-0812-2c10-b58c-c7bdd7a0cdce], i read that "CachePreloaderService" is responsible for this and it allows to preload the urls/roles.

There is a field in configuration of "CachePreloaderService" which says that users need to be specified.

I want to preload the shortURL/roles for all the users of portal then how can this service work.

Is there any other way to achieve this ?

Hi Puneet,

I'm afraid there is no other possibility than this service. But I've got an idea about a workaround: maybe some dummy user helps. The dummy user should have all available roles assigned and you maintain this user in the Preloader Service. Just for merged entry points not all navigation nodes will be preloaded for all possible combinations of roles. Nevertheless it may help you to have a better performance.
