How to store and retrieve cookies in portal for Webdynpro Application

Hi all

How to store & retrieve cookies in portal for Wedbynpro Application

for example we have webdynpro application inside that there is only view and there we used one UI element of Inputfield.

when ever user logs into portal and click on webdynpro iView and there he entered some "XYZ" in the inputfield and next time when he logs into portal and came to same inputfield and just he trying to type "X" then it has to show the value of "XYZ" in the inputfield column.

How to store the cookies in portal for Webdynpro Application??

If anybody gives suggestions then it would be great help to us.

Hi Kalki,

I stumbled upon this thread which you might find interesting.

However it isnt a bit advisable to use non API methods in WD code as the thread also mentions that. Not everything will be supported when you upgrade the JAVA Engine.
