Hi harshalyem,
In the field Selection data of VL01n put the date that you have in the Schedule line tab of your Sales order at item level.
Thanks in advance,
Mariano.

Hi,
If there is enough stock of the material in MMBE then just do the following:
a. Check the delivery date for Item's schedule line in Sales Order.
b. Go to Vl01N, enter the same date in the selection date field in VL01N.
This will solve your issue.
Regards,
Vijay.

Hi
Normally, this is the problem in "Selection date" while creating Delivery document through VL01N.
So, display the Sales order(VA03), select the item, go to item details > schedule line.
Here, you will find a button "Shipping", click on that and you will find the scheduling details.
Note down the "Material availability date " and the "Transportation planning date".
Suppose "Material av date" is 19/05/2009 and "Tr.planning date" is 20/05/2009, then 19/05/2009 should be the earliest "Selection date" or any date after 19/05/2009 will also work.
But, if you will give Selection date as 18/05/2009, then system will give this error.
You can use the date which ever is earlier between the two as "Selection date" (19/05/2009)while creating the Delivery document through t.code VL01N.
You can use a date after this date also as Selection date but you should not use any earlier date (e.g, 18/05/2009) as Selection date. Possibly you are presently doing like this.
By default, system takes the present date as Selection date while creating Delivery through VL01N and if you process with that selection date then system will give you this type of error.

Hi Friend,
To resolve this you need to check two criteria.
1. Check the Stock for that particular material in the plant and the sales org.
Check it in MMBE if there is no stock maintain the stock in Transaction MB1C
2. If there is stock then in the sales order at the line items level check the Schecule lines tab for the confirmed quantity date.
By giving the confirmed quantity date in the VL01n (delivery creation) this issue wil be resolved.
This will definitely useful.
revert back if u have any further queries!!!!!
regards,
santosh
