CATS - Transfer to FICO (Controlling)

Hi,

We are implementing CATS , with integration to PS and Controlling.

What are configuarations we have do from HCM side for CATS-FICO(Controlling)

can any one provide the main config steps to transfer to controlling.

what are the fields we have to enable to transfer to controlling..

Please help me ......

what happens if you enter Date(period) of the time entry in CAT7 but leave personnel number blank?  Will CAT7 transfer items that should not be transferred to CO?

Hi,

Please make the time entry via CAT2/CATSXT and then use the tcode CATA for transferring the saved entries to CO (Controlling).

If you want to transfer the time entry to CO in a fast manner ,the best option is to use CAT7

The following is required in CAT7 screen:

1) Personnel Number

2) Date(period) of the time entry.

In CATA you can select the person's data on many criterios and there also the Personnel number and Date(Period) of the time entry is required.A

Also in CATA use have to select the target component (ie CO)

Rec. Cost center, sender cost center, activity type, WBS Element, Reciver order, Network these are the fields requried.

What ever fields you needed in CAT2 Screen populate them through CAC2 T.Code. Normally Activity type will use by CO, PS & CS module & rate will be maintain in activity type. If still need more information check with your CO consultant.

Create Data Entry Profile with all required fields in Data Entry Selection area. Then Book Time in CAT2 againest CO Objects and transfer.

Hi

I have read the thread and a small piece of advice.

If you are a HCM consultant and please sit down with the Controlling Consultant to understand what are the fields and data that ought to be transferred to CO from CATS.

CATS is not the work of only a HCM consultant it is to be done by all the consultants being in sync.

The HCM consultant does only the HCM part and transfer to HCM only.
