Planned order cannot covert to Purchase requisition

Dear gurus,

Please help us.

When I run Tcode MD04 to convert Planned order to PO: It says: "Planned order xyz converted to purchase requisition abc" but actually when I refresh MD04, no PR is appeared in the MRP list (it is not created).

The system also appears the message" Express document "Update was terminated" received from author xxx.

When I come to ME5A to check the Purchase requisition abc, it's there with the "Deletion indicator" and the document date is in the past (ie, the number abc is of the old document,not newly created document from planned order). It seems mean the system reset the Purchase requisition number.

So, in conclusion, there are 2 problems:

- Why the number is reset but actually no new PR is created?

- Why the message" Express document "Update was terminated" received from author xxx" appeared?

Hi,

Generally this error message comes because of number range.Check ur number range or create a new number range.

Hi Hong ,

Update termination may occurs beacuse of many reasons .

In your case at first goto Transaction SM13 , enter the user name and display the log.

Inform your ABAPer for analysing the log , thereafter you may be required to either correct the input data or there may correction in the Function Module.

This message normally comes when the user authorisation gets deleted form the user master database...please check your authorisation with the help of the basis consultant...so the update will done ...
