Hello All,
I would like to enable a batch management feature for a finished product.
I would like to delete existing production orders and planned orders.
I deleted the component quantities in the production order and set the TECO flag.
I also enabled the deletion flag.
I removed all planned orders from MD04 and there are no forecast values.
MMBE also shows zero quantity.
However when I try to change the material using mm02 it still gives the following message:
Production orders already exist for the material
What else do I need to do?
Thanks in advance
George

What exactly are you trying to change in MM02?
I believe you have to archive the Production Order

After TECO the production order, and deleting the planned orders, Run MRP (MRP mode 3 -
Delete and recreate plannning data). It will create planned orders and existing production orders will be deleted. Delete the newly created planned orders in MD12
Now in the change mode of material master, enable the batch management (for me, it gave a warning message saying the production order still exists), but able to enable batch management
Where after, did confirmations for a production orders with batch management active status {
stocks was inventorized in batches }
