Retreive repository password

HI All,

How to retreive login/password of a repository as i not able to recall my set password.

Hi Manish,

If you are interested only in the repository schema then just Export the schema and Create new repository with the exported schema, this will delete all the users and set the Admin password to blank.

If you want to retrieve the password then follow the below steps:

You can reset the password at the database level

1. Login into the database server and check for the databse name <Repository Name>_m000

2. Check for the table A2i_CM_Users

3. Look the desired user and in the password column set D41D8CD98F00B204E9800998ECF8427E as the value. This will set the password for that user to blank

No need to restart the MDM Server.

Hi Manish,

I tried this first and it worked for me.

check the username from the A2i_CM_Users table and set the password value as posted above. Now just enter the username it should login.

What error msg you are getting?

Thanks Jitesh. It Worked.!!! Just unmounted and unmounted the repository and it worked.
