Number range for internal challan number not maintained

Hi Sap gurus,

Can anybody helpme .when i am updating vendor challan in j1inmis tranaction ,it is giving errror msg that "Number range for internal challan number not maintained.'

Maintain the no. ranges in table J_1IEWTNUM, J_1IEWTN

SPRO->FA>FAGS>WHT>EXT. WHT>POSTINGS>INDIA->REMITANCE CHALLANS

Internal number ranges for challans are mainitained in J1INUMBER.

Hi Siddhartha,

You will have to maintain number groups & number ranges for TDS challan .PLease follow below pathe to complete the config;

Financial Accounting (New) --> Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) --> Withholding Tax --> Extended Withholding Tax --> Posting --> India --> Remittance Challans.

Please configure all the steps under Remittance Challan Node.

This will solve ur problem.
