administrator account locked...any solutions?

the master password was not accepted when i tried to login to the system info link as an administrator on successful installation of the NW04(630). there was apparently nothing worng with the entered password......still, any solutions on how to unlock the account? also, to change password?

Ram,

Once you have unlocked the user and you change the password, make sure to change in both the places - config tool and visual admin tool.

1 activate the superadmin (SAP) and set password for SAP via UME(configtool).

2.restart cluster, long time

3.logon Visual Admin by the SAP* account and password.

4.unlock Administrator and change admin's password.

5.un-activate superadmin (SAP*).

6.restart cluster, also long time -_=

7.logon Visual Admin by Administrator and the reseted password.

If you are talking about J2EE stack, then you may look at the option to activate superadmin account (SAP*) through

Config Tool => UME properties.
