Hi,
It seems you need to change the password of DB user id from BRTools. Have you tried to change password of DB user id from SQL? If yes then you need to change it from BRtools so that it will get updated it SAPUSER table.

through BRtools i tried to change the password but i am getting
the below error for this.

Brtools>8 - Additional functions>4 - Change password of database user-->
3 ~ Database owner to change password (owner)>Here Put your Schema Owner ( SAPBSD or SAPR3 etc)> C ( Continue)>Enter new password>C
Check below link which explain same error
May be you need to upgrade you Brtools patch level.
What is your DB release & What is your BRtools patch level.?
If your OS is AIX check Note 454050 - AIX: Member ansi_64.o is not found in archive

if password change is required, use BR*tools only.
brconnect -c -u / -f chpass -o SYSTEM -password WhaTeVeR

The problem is with the OPS$-user password
ORA-01017: invalid username/password ; logon denied
check the note 400241 - Problems with ops$ or sapr3 connect to Oracle
