No Phrases assigned to Phrase set

Dear All

In CG02 transaction , when I am opening characteristics to assign properties I am getting message

" No phrases assigned to phrase set ". What may be the problem ?

In CG1C least one phrase needs to be assigned to phrase set.

Goto CG1B ..then enter phrase set click on change.. then check ur phrases ..if iti is not there assign the phrases..

First check transaction CGAC and check which phrase set is assigned to the characteristic

After that check transaction CG1C and check the relevant phrase set

Check if there is at least one phrase assigned to this phrase set

In CG1C transaction , for phrase sets no phrases are assigned. In transaction CGAC characteristics are assigned to phrase sets.What may be reason ?

The reason is when we execute" Generate Standard phrase sets" IMG Activity - it generates standard phrase sets for all characteristics of 30 Chars and automaitically assigns those generated phrase sets to respective characteristics. However Phrases are not assigned automatically during that process for which you need to either import phrases (CG3Y follwed by CG31) or create them manually (CG12). and assign to each phrase sets. While Importing phrases there is option of automatically linking to phrase sets provide the entry is available in the file. If you carry out this activity then you will be able to find phrases in respective phrase sets (CG1C).
