unable to access sapmnt in windows 2008

Hi,

I have recently installed the SAP Server on windows 2008,

i wonder why i am unable to access SAPMNT, i created one folder on that i set the sharing permissions its working fine , but specifically with SAPMNT i am unbale to do .

please let me know if you have any thoughts

Did you disable UAC?

Hi irfan,

Things to think about:

Is the SAP instance that is installed under the SAPMNT working correctly ?

Was the SAPMNT share setup via installation or set manually (via Folder Properties)?

What user created the SAPMNT share (SAPService<sid> or ...)?

What user(s) are you accessing the share with ?

BTW, If the answer to #1 is yes, then you should be able to use your <sid>adm user to examine the share
