Dear Bhushan,

For this you have to do some config settings and an authorization check.check these settings,

1.In OS27 - Check box included for BOM validity maintained,EC Management active,History Requirement.

2.In OS25 - BOM usage 1 & BOM status 1 - History Requirement check box is included.

3.While creating the roles for giving the authorization for the T codes CS01/CS02,ensure for the Authorization object

C_STUE_NOH is with value "NO".(Your Basis consultant can help you in this setting).

To explore more check this link,

Check & revert back.

Dear,

Required setting are as

OS25 - Configure History Requirements for BOM :- Check box need to active for BOM validity maintained,EC Management active,History Requirement.

OS27 - Define Modification Parameters for BOM :- BOM usage 1 & BOM status 1 - Active History Requirement

Authorization object to make change number mandatory field C_STUE_NOH

It will solve your problem.
