Installing Business Objects Enterprise ...error applying transforms.

I was trying to un-install BusinessObjects Enterprise 3.0.....In the process I am not able to successfully un-install or repair the existing one.

In both the cases, I am getting the following error:

*error applying transforms. verify that the specified transform paths are valid.*

I am having exacty the same problem on my side?

Find the string "Transforms" in registry by going to "regedit". Delete this key from the registry then go back to "add/remove programs" and remove it.

Make sure it will be businessobjcets folders.. take a back up of regedit and try.

I am getting the same error when I try to uninstall Xcelsius 2008 sp3.

I also get the same error when trying to update Xcelsius 2008 sp3 to fp3.2!

Can you provide more details around exactly what I should delete from my registry. I have found many instances of 'Transforms' in my registry.
