Special GL indicator: error F5838 after trying to activate

Dear colleagues,

I was trying to activate postings with special GL indicator for travel advances:

• activated the line with "HRV" operation in the include DFKB1INT

• inserted a "X" for a field SHBKZ for the corresponding wage types in the T706K

• now when I try to assign the account in PRT3 for HRV, I get the following error message: F5838 - Special GL indicator is not defined or mistaken.

The SAP notes I've found on F5838 mostly refer to some industry solutions and were not helpful.

Maybe some information is in the note 90813, proposed here in the WIKI section, but unfortunately I have no access to this specific note.

Hi Nina,

May I know , if you were able to activate the special GL indicator posting for travel request.

We have activated the include DFKB1INT and able to see the HRV - Trip Costs postings, advances in tcode PRT3. but when I trying to configure there hit the error message saying " Special GL indicator not defined or incorrect".

Could you please advise whether you managed to activate it and could you advise the configuration steps please.
