Error in F-92

Dear All,

While i am executing F-92,the system prompts the following error message and not alone us to post the retirement of asset.

*Internal error: Entry in COKA-Buffer not found

Message no. KC051

Diagnosis

The system could not find the entry with the following key in the COKA float:

u2022 Object number = AO00000000000000008170

u2022 Cost element = 45100000

u2022 Origin group =

System response

An internal error has occurred. Processing stopped.

Procedure

Notify your system administrator*.

If any have come across these type of issue.

Kindly let me know how to overcome this issue.

Hi

This table is for co object assigned to a cost element. Please check Asset Master data as well if co object is assigned to that asset or not in time dependent tab.

Further also check account determination for the relevant asset class , whether a correct GL account type assigned or not i.e. P&L account in place of dep and other exp account and BS account in correct places.

an internal error message is very difficult to understand and also to decipher what could be root cause of the problem.

I have seen internal error message throughing when running AFAB. But the root cause was in assigning the proper GL accounts in the ao90 for the depreciation areas.

So i would suggest you to approach SAP as they can look into your system and find out the root caause and suggst the solution.

Thanks for your reply.

But we dont think that this note will help us.

As we are in 6.0,hope that these notes will be covered in the new version.
