delate map in Import manager

Can we delete the maps created in Import manager.

If yes,Plz let me know.

Hi ,

Yes you can delete or rename the maps.

Steps:

1.Login the import manger

2.Select file->open->select the map the map which you want to delete or rename.

3.Using keyboard press delete button for deleting the map and F2 for renaming.

Hi Lakshmi,

as maps are remote system specific so you have to enter into the remote system first while logging in import manager.Then select:FILE>OPEN>SELECT A MAP> DELETE button from your desktop.

Hi,

Yes the Map can be deleted in the import manger itself. You need to go to File->Open, You can select any of the maps from the list and press the delete Key.

If you only want to remove the association of the Map with the Port you need to go to console, unload the repository and remove its association with the port.

Hi Shifali,

While logging in to the import manager, you specify the remote system for which you are going to perform operations. So in one log in you can delete the maps which were created for that particular remote system. For deleting all maps, you need to login separately for each remote system and delete the associated maps.

Hi Shifali,

Yes you can delete the maps created in Import Manager.

1. Go to File-> Open

2. Select the Map you want to delete

3. Use the "Delete" in keyboard

4. It will ask if you want to delete it

5. Select "Yes"

Hi,

Yes, we can delete the maps in the IMport Manager.

Open the IMport Manager and Choose File->Open.

You will find the list of the import maps there. Select the map you wish to delete and press DELETE from your keyboard.

The import map will get deleted.
