can anyone help....
Thanks
David
Hi David,
Go to PSA ( the screen where you can see the data packages after clicking on your failed request) . Click on all the data packages and in the bottom there is an option Selecting ... .. with status -> give Erroneous records. you can find the error records and investigate the problem.
You can find out whether something is wrong with the data coming.
Regards
Sunil

Here are the solution steps from the note mentioned
1. Go to the maintenance of the DataSource that you want to load and choose the tab page "Extraction".
2. Select the adapter " Load Text-Type File from Application Server".
3. Enter the name of the application server file.
4. Change the "Character Set Setting" to "Direct Entry".
5. Enter 1100 as the "Character Set" (that is, the code page).
6. Go to the tab page "Proposal".
7. Choose "Load Example Data".
8. The file is displayed in the area "Data Output" or "File Preview". If the display is correct, you have found the correct code page. You can save this in the DataSource definition, or you exit the DataSource maintenance without saving and enter the code page in the InfoPackage directly.
a) If there is a query stating that the field list no longer matches the proposal, choose "No".
9. If the file display does not meet your expectations, or the system issues an error message when you load sample data, return to the tab page "Extraction" and repeat steps 5 to 8 with the code pages (character sets) 4102, 4103 and 4110. If none of these code pages work, choose the input help for the field "Character Set" and test the code pages for languages (for example, 1700 for Greek). The file may have been created using UTF-32. In this case, choose 4104 or 4105.
Cheers,
Srinath.
