Hi ,

3KEH and FAGL3KEH are transactions which are used for deriving the Profit Center as a default object for a given GL Account. While 3KEH was at a Controlling Area level and you had transaction 3KEI to do further derivations , FAGL3KEH is at a Company code level. 3KEH is meant for Classic Profit Center Accounting which is a part of Enterprise Controlling while FAGL3KEH is a part of New GL Profit Center Accounting.

Path of FAGL3KEH - SPRO - Accounting - Financial Accounting (New) - General Ledger Accounting (New) - Master Data - Profit Center - Assign Default Profit Center to Accounts

OKB9 is used for automatic account assignment ( like incorporating Default Cost Center / Order / Profit Center / Profitability Segment ) for each Cost element . This is done for selected auto posted accounts to facilitate avoiding of any manual internvention in incorporating the Cost Object during transactional entry. 3KEH and FAGL3KEH predominantly focus on deriving Profit Center for various Balance sheet Accounts.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Venkat.
