(Buffer table not uptodate) : error while doing BDC on BBP_CTR_main.

Hi abapers,

While processing my BDC on transaction BBP_CTR_MAIN

I get a dum that the Buffer tabel is not updated.

Has anyone got this dump before

how do we get around this.

Hi Aditya,

Yes, this is a general issue. Maybe if you could copy the call stack from the dump into this thread (search the 'Active Calls/Events ' part in the dump) we can give more hint where the error come from.

Hi Check for any custom fields against the structure, this happens sometimes when the custom field is not maintained in the structure.

The "Buffer table is not up to date" error is a general error and I think nearly everyone doing SRM programming has had it at one point or another.

Basically we can't tell what is wrong from the limited amount of information you have given us. This error generally comes from wrong input data, something critical is either missing or wrong.
