Hi Experts,
I found that in T-code COHV can do mass processing of production order and planned order, then would you please tell me how to do below things,
1. How to do mass availability material check for existing production order?
2. How to do mass availability material check for one period plan order?
3. How to mass firm plan order?
Awaiting for your replies.
Cheers,
Kumar.S
For mass availability check:
1. In selection tab, enter your production plant and also exclude orders with TECO and CLSD status.
2. In Mass-processing tab,
a. Function = Material availabiltiy check
b. Execute function = immediately
c. Save Log = always
d. check box reset availability data.
e. scope of process = ATP check or check according to material checking group.
f. log output = start log at error message.
For Firming planned orders:
1. follow all the above steps.
2. check box firmed planned orders.

SRAO has clearly detailed..
Here are the steps again..
1. Transaction COHV.
2. Choose a Layout.
3. Change the ticks against the Prod Orders / Planned Orders
4. In Selection Tab, enter your production plant and also exclude orders with TECO and CLSD status. You can also restrict to a range of time, Orders.
5. In Mass Processing Tab, enter Material Availability Check in the Function Field. System will default "Execute function = immediately
and Save Log = always"
6. In the Function Parameters, Scope of Processing, Choose the relevant option best suited to you.. tick reset availability data.
7. Execute.
For Firming planned orders, execute all steps from 1-6, Check the box for Firm Planned Orders and Execute.

Hi Experts,
Now i have 2 more questions related to this query,
1. Mass processing for production order material availibility
The first time when I do it, it shows the correct missing part log, but the problem when I try to do it again, why it shows there is no log?
2.Mass availability material check for one period plan order
I have tried for particualr 1 material in COHV, it shows there is no missing part, but actually when I do individual ATP check for each plan order, there is missing part, would you please help to clarify this queries.
Awaiting for your replies.

HI,
1.The missing Part log is a temporary log generated , when you run the Check.
it gets refreshed every time you execute the availability check. as the Stock situation is dynamic, this is fair enough.
2.Check the checking rule used in both the occasions, Mass processing and Individual check.
and the Scope of check in each case, will give you an idea .

Ratan

Hi Experts,
Please confirm the below,
1.Normally when we use COHV to do mass production order material availability, should be select " reset availability data" or not?,If not why?
2.Is it possible to use COHV to do mass processing for plan order material availability? if so how to do?I have gonethrough the all the steps with my earlier replies but failed.
Please clarify the above 2 things.

Hello,
I am facing exactly the same problem: collective availability check is carried out for planned orders, but the log is empty... how did you solve this, in other words: how can you execute collective availability check on planned orders using COHV or COMAC with having a correct missing parts list in the log?

Dear Kumar,
Just do one thing
after executing COHV
select the plan order & click on pencil icon (change mode)
here first click on bill of material, then click on check componet availbility
then check requirment qty & confirmed qty of components
and simultansly check for each component stock in MMBE
