Is it possible to create query on Change log table(DSO). If I am not wrong whenever we try to design a query on DSO it takes from Active table. So if it is possible to create on change log, I need to know how to go about it.
You can get the name of change log table by opening the DSO and using menu path Extras-> Information ( log/status) -> Dictionary / DB Status Button in the Change long table section.
You can create a generic data source on top of this table using RSO2 on BI Side and try to load it into another DSO from where you can report on it. You can look at the option of making it realtime data source if you need to report on the change log at less frequency.

Hi,
You cannot create a query on change log data. Change log data is part of DSO which is being used to capture the delta. As you might be aware a DSO has three tables New data table, Active Table and Change log table. These altogther forms DSO.
Hope this helps

Akhan

You would not be able to create a BEx query on a Change Log. The Change Log isn't an active InfoProvider, instead it is purely an ABAP Dictionary table. You could create an ABAP report to display the data in the Change Log if you needed to report off of it. This ABAP report could be created as a Web Dynpro report if it's required to be visible in an SAP BW Portal.
