Hi WebDyn Pro's,
I have a WebDynpro application whose purpose is to provide an "Overview" page for multiple topics inside the portal.
The WebDynpro has 2 options for navigating to target topics.
1. I can use the "wdFirePlug" technique to move to a different target WebDynpro page, or
2. I can use "WDPortalNavigation" and navigate to a portal Workset/iView that ultimately invokes the same target WebDynpro page.
If I use Option 1, the Portal navigation doesn't "FOLLOW and MATCH" what the user is clicking in the WebDynpro. Conversely, if I use Option 2, the Portal navigation does keep in stride with the topics being selected by the user via the WebDynpro Overview page.
The only problem is that Option 2 requires more resources I suppose.
Any advice on this issue of how to integrate WebDynpro pages with the portal navigation?
Kevin
Using option 2. It works well.
