The delivery block of a customer was set after the sales order creation. The delivery was made.

It is logical to be able to make the delivery if the block was set after the creation of the sales order?

How can i block the creation of the delivery if the block is set after the sales order creation?

Thak you.

Hi,

I assume the delivery block has been posted at order header level (VBAK-LIFSK). It's required that the delivery block is assigned to the relevant delivery type in table TVLSP. Edit in SPRO > Logistics Execution > Shipping > Deliveries > Define reasons for blocking.

It's also possible that dlvry has been created at the time when the order was saved - check your order type in VOV8 whether "Immediate delivery" is ticked, and if so, untick & choose "Delivery block" from the list instead to prevent dlvry creation.

Thanks and regards,

Zuzana

Dear

Beside it you need to assign delivery block reason at item header or item level also.

The delivery block is assigned to the client master data (XD05). The question is why is possible to make the delivery, even with this delivery block in the client master data? (the sales order was made before the block was set in the client master data)

Hi,

The sales order sets the delivery block if it is there in the client master at the time of creation of sales order. If you set the delivery block after that it will not change anything in the sales order. If the sales order has no delivery block it will allow you to create the delivery.
