Cannot set deletion flag for product cost collector 704682

Hi,

We have one Finish Goods material setting Discrete Manufacturing. We done GR normal. Later for the user mistake checked the Repetitive Manufacturing flag and profile in material master MRP view. And cheked Repetitive flag at production version via C223(product version). Now the material can't generate the production order. We want to remove the Repetitive Manufacturing flag at Material master and product version. The system need delete cost collector first. When we delete the cost collector. We got the following error message. We closed all relatived procution order via technically complete at CO03. The delete cost collector can't pass. Pls help us check it.Thanks.

Diagnosis

The deletion flag cannot be set for product cost collector 704682 for one or more of the following reasons:

There are still run schedule headers for the product cost collector in which the status Deletion indicator is not set.

There are production versions for the product cost collector in which the status Deletion indicator is not set.

There are postprocessing records in repetitive manufacturing that are to be assigned to the product cost collector.

There are manufacturing orders for the product cost collector in which the status Deletion indicator is not set.

System Response

The system does not set a deletion flag.

Procedure

Check the status of the orders assigned to the product cost collector. To display the orders and production versions assigned to the product cost collector, select Goto -> Display orders.

Dear Han,

In my understanding it show's your authorization matrix was not proper which allowed the user's to make all changes,which they

wanted to do.this may create problesm during the auditing time.

check whether this works out.

1.First delete all the existing planned order's of order type RS/PE for that material either from MD04/MD16.

2.Remove or clear all the post processing records from MF47.(if some postings/confirmations were made)

3.Then set the deletion flag for the product cost colector.

4.Set the valid to date as today's date in the production version(instead of trying to delete the production version or removing the

REM allowed indicator).

5.Create new production version,do not include the indicator for REM allowed indicator inside the production version.

Check and revert back.
