LP21-Background Job

Hi Gurus,

What is the purpose of LP21 Transaction? Can you briefly explain the source of Requested qty? Will the background job for LP21 results in Creation of TRs? I did schedule a job but its getting errored out stating " Replenishment for fixed bins in whse 213 stor.type 213 not possible now"

Please brief me about the same.

before you schedule something to run in background you should have tested it in foreground.

in LP21 is a blue infobutton, click it, it explains the purpose of the program

I had a test run before I scheduled the back ground processing. When I scheduled the job then its getting error out.

And what do you do when you run it in foreground?

can you just click thru and finally save? or do you need to enter anything? do you get any message in foreground?

Replenishment has already been requested for storage type in warehouse number .

so you have a active TO for replenishment, that is not yet confirmed, dont you?

In the foreground after I execute the report I just click on Material Stagging which will create the Requirement. There will not be any error message populated.
