Hi Friends

"Account 'Acc.dep. accnt.for ordinary depreciation' could not be found for area 01

Diagnosis

When creating the accounting document, the system could not find

account 'Acc.dep. accnt.for ordinary depreciation' in depreciation area

Procedure

Enter this account in the account determination for Asset Accounting.

I have checked AO90, GL has already been assigned there.

it is showing some assets which are AUC.

You can have a quick look with SE16 and the tables T095 and T095 if you miss config. Is going faster then AO90

So far I have seen you don't need to set up the depreciation account for AUC. But in the case that the AUC have a depreciation key that calculate depreciation you need to set this up.

You can run a normal asset report for the AUC asset class to see if there is depreciation.

An other option is that the G/L account is not created in the company code

I have checked T095 it is showing perfect and also checked all the GL which has been assigned to ACC. Dep. Accnt. all has been created.

Hi,

Check if this GL account is created in all other company codes which are assigned the same CoA. Sometimes these missing GL accounts throw errors like this, in my experience.
